About Michelle

I’M A…

Thanks for visiting PTP! You might be wondering where the name comes from, and hey, that’s a great question. But before I get there, let me tell you a little bit about myself and why I decided to (finally) launch this beautiful new website.

Full disclosure, I’m sure if you’ve seen my Instagram, you’ll notice I travel a ton and write a lot about it. I also tend to take a lot of food photos. Obviously, I love food, but what truly makes food a passion for me is its intrinsic ability to connect people and cultures together. Food is a huge focal point of travel for me and I’m always eager to seek out the best local gems in any place I visit. In that light, I wanted to create this site to share those gems with you and write candidly about the things that might not make it into the mainstream.

So back to name Pink Travel Project and why I decided to name it that. Well, pink is fun, and playful and a celebration of femininity. And I just love that and have ever since I painted my room hot pink in the 10th grade. So now that you know a bit more about me, I hope you’ll continue to follow along on my travels and drop me a line to share your favorite travel moments and adventures, I’d love to hear ‘em!

Yours in Travel, Michelle
